C - do 38 mg (w 100 g) oczywiście jedzone na surowo; tylko czasem się obrabia termicznie z audycji - "Muktuk is nearly 88% fat, 11% protein and 1% carbohydrate" czyli ma 88% tłuszczu, 11% białka i 1% węgli

Ja dzisiaj oglądałam "Pociąg z mięsem" i też wolę obrobione, ale raczej gotowane. Najgorsze są jednak robaki, białe białko. To białko nawet się rusza.

Andrew Zimmern is on an adventure as wild as the Alaskan bush. It's part of the Alaskan culture to eat every part of every animal, and Andrew sits down to take a bite of everything in front of him, regardless of how it smells. Andrew gets his first taste of the local flavor just outside Anchorage at Indian Valley Meats. Owner Doug Drum shows Andrew how to whip up a few loaves of jellied moose nose out of a moose head. Want a slice, anyone? Andrew then straps on some snowshoes for a back-country trek with his wilderness guide, Andy Morrison. After a hike that includes panning for gold, Andy takes Andrew to his little hideaway in the pines - an igloo. At this point, Andrew gets his first taste of 'agutuk,' or Eskimo ice cream. The ingredients? Berries, lard and fish. Next, Andrew travels down the Kenai Peninsula to the home of author DJ Blatchford. His hostess treats Andrew to some raw whale and whale roast. There is also whale oil on the table, but after having a taste Andrew politely declines repeated requests to have more. From there the scenery changes for Andrew, but the food is just as interesting. Bethel, Ala., is land-locked, so Andrew flies there in search of even more traditional foods. One of the best ways to get around the place is by snowmobile. Andrew meets his local guide, Anna David, and zooms off to go ice fishing. After checking the whitefish nets and the blackfish traps, which are located under the ice, Andrew and Anna give it some gas and head over to Lucy Crow's house. Lucy introduces Andrew to boiled blackfish and what she calls stinkheads. Basically, they are fish heads that have fermented in the ground. Yum! Andrew's Alaskan adventure ends in Girdwood, where he fires up another snowmobile. However, this time his guide's snowmobile becomes a traveling oven. The state bird of Alaska is the ptarmigan. It's also a game bird. After bagging a couple of ptarmigan, Andrew and his guides put the deceased on the engine to simmer and then make their way through the mountains to a glacier cave. Upon arrival, they flip open the hood and dinner is served. Soldotna Home of DJ and Joel Blatchford: Andrew ate beluga whale 'muktuk' (whale blubber and skin), bowhead whale 'muktuk,' fermented whale oil, 'dunuk' (whale blubber that didn't break down during the fermentation of the whale oil), whale-tail pinwheel roast and pickled whale. Bethel Lucy Crow's House: After a day of whitefish netting and riding snowmobiles, Andrew enjoyed a meal of boiled blackfish with seal oil, seal soup, stinkheads (fish heads that have been buried and left to rot in the ground for weeks), and 'agutuk' (this time with seal oil as well as the fat, fish and berries). jedzą przede wszystkim surowe, suszone i fermentowane a do tego niemało "dojrzałych" produktów, z którymi nawet Andrew Zimmern miał problemy - np. "fermented whale oil" i "dunuk" oraz "stinkheads" chill - Śro Lis 05, 2008 18:08 Wybrałbym sie tam

nie teraz, bo kasy tyle nie mam, ale za jakiś tam czas.... w końcu mam jeszcze co najmniej 100 lat życia, więc znajdzie się nie jednak okazja

parę dni temu, jak byłem na działce dałem kawałek psu - powąchał i odszedł; a jest to pies, można powiedzieć, leśny, który lubi lekko "przekiszone" kości
